Wouldn't it be great if we all had a movie about us to make us more successful in life? The School of Rock franchise, a renowned music school with hundreds of locations, has an intriguing connection to the entertainment industry that goes beyond just sharing a name with the 2003 film "School of Rock." Directed by Richard Linklater, this comedy about a struggling rock guitarist who becomes a substitute teacher at a prep school and forms a band with his students, not only entertained millions but also sparked interest in music education. Despite initial appearances, the School of Rock music program predates the movie, founded by Paul Green in 1998 in Philadelphia.
